I love yabbse, it definately has better features than any other forum script, including phpbb...

Right now I have a question, maybe it should be posted in a different board, but anyways.... Is it worth upgrading from 1.0.0, to 1.1.0?  I don't really like beta software, so that's why I never really bothered...
Actually now I have another question, when is 1.3.0 comming out?  And will it be easier to edit templates with it?

1.1 is a lot better than 1.0.
1.3 will be out soon.
Editing templates will be the same but there won't be an implode error :)

If I upgrade to 1.1, will it overwrite any of my configuration files or the template and buttons?

No, you only overwrite what you want to overwrite.  You may need to set a string or two in english.lng though.
