I modified this message the same day as it was originally posted. I wanted to be clear in certain section and found that I made some gramatical errors that might confuse the reader:

I also agree as I have over thirty categories with descriptions that make scrolling cumbersome and tend to drive my visitors away.
I've written to Godai after seeing his website which is awesome. He does fine work and I hope he is appreciated others as much as he is by myself. I understand having a lot of work and not being able to maintain my website which I usually work at the cost of a nights sleep. Still, Godai has a collapsible category that not only works but does so very elegantly. I would love to add this feature to my site. Unless Godai can complete it, I'm back to only wishing because I don't have anywhere near the understanding or "skills" necessary to create the feature (and most likely, neither do the majority of us who rely upon downloading mods and have no formal programming skills).
This is an important feature that I gave up with YaBB Gold. I didn't realize how important it was to me until I got my new template and site up and running with YaBB SE and now I see how much we need this feature.
I realize that I can do no more than hope he completes the mod. I would have thought that since this is an open source, he would be sharing his work so that others who have the skills might be able to help him. There appears to be more at work here than I know.
However, I do understand the number of hours balanced between volunteering and that which feeds and houses my family. My site is a public service. I've only started to advertise because I find that I am cutting too deeply into my professional practice to maintain what I believe is an important and unique service to both the public and professionals in the building industry. I've donated and contributed my time for well over 14-years to my profession and never asked for compensation.
I think I have some idea of the stress and pressure on Godai to finish this and can only say that I appreciate his efforts. If others can help him, this would be great.
Sorry for the diatribe, but this one feature should not be taken for granted.
