Couple of quick ?s

Got a couple of quick questions:

1. There doesn't seem to be any way to change someone to Moderator Status. You can change them to Admin or Global Mod in the "Modify" link in their profile, but Moderator isn't in the list.

2. My Admin login somehow appears twice in the member's list. Viewing the two actual database entries, it looks like all of the info is the same, including username and password. Will it be safe to delete one of the accounts?

3. Is it possible to create a "read-only" board for FAQ? I'd like users to be able to view it, but not to post anything in it.

Thanks!

1) You need to go to the "Edit boards" section of the admin center and set people as moderators.

2) it should be, but do not do anything without backing up your database first.

3) No, not in version 1.0.0 wait fro 1.3.0 to come out :)

Well, when I set someone as a moderator of a specific forum, it still lists them in their default status, which is in this case, newbie, since it's a test account that I'm playing with. Also, it doesn't allow them to see the mods only forums. Is there any way to actually change the status to Moderator?

The rest of the info was great, thanks for the help!

The person you set as a Moderator gets his status only in the forum displayed where he/she is a Moderator. In any other forum he'll still listed with his normal status. Look at me, I'm Moderator in the German section, but I have this status only in the German Board !

Thanks for the clarification! That makes sense. I hadn't tried posting to see if the status changed depending on the forum.
