in phpbb when you click as moderator or admin on an ip you see how many post there was from that ip and the user names that use that ip
i think thats real handy for tracking down people who are messing up your board with spam or other things
under a new nick
now you have to look  all ip's over to indentify the spammer

The complete feature isn't there but it's roughed in for version 1.3.0

Jeff you do realise that with all this talk about the "god sending of forum software" Also known as YaBBSE 1.3.0  will just make us more impatient and want that version out soon right? ;D

Actually, all I want for the next release after 1.3.0 is the functionality of cooking and cleaning my house... my room will do for version 2.0.0, but for 2.1.0, I'd expect my house to be cleaned, and 2.2.0 better be able to cook up a storm =)

Ok, onto the serious stuff, I think this would be one of the best features to have on the site (IP tracking)...so, let's be patient and wait for Jeff and the crew for 1.3.0 cuz we're getting something good!

It may not be complete in 1.3.0 guys ;)  I can see where others stand on some things for 1.3.0 to see about time.  This weekend should be a good weekend for me to code though...

if your going to ad IP's why not add 1 more line and pull MAC Addresses as well, this could also help in finding multiple users.

Well, as long as you work on that sometime, that's good... there's no rush on anything, really ... my opinion is that i'd prefer to have 1.3.0 as soon as you think it's good, and all the other stuff can just be added, right? or is it as simple as that?
