Removing # of post display?

I'd like to remove the posts display from users when they post (for example look to your left  ;) ) I get users posting useless things just to rack up the number of posts they have. I figure removing this will help stop the problem.
I think it's somewhere in load.php but I can't seem to find the right thing to edit. ??? ???
Anyone have any idea??
Thanks

Same here! In my Ikonboard I removed the post count at the suggestion of one of my moderators and it made things a lot better (no spamming for instance and new members felt better posting). I would also like to know exactly what to edit. :)

Well I got this half way figured out ;)
In Display.php remove this line
$psts = $userprofile[$mname]['posts'];
Now I don't know if this is the proper way to go about it but I've got it down to it just showing Post: with no number.
Well it's a start..........

Ok I got it ;D
Remove this line in Display.php
$postinfo = "$txt[26]: $psts<br>";
It's on line 371. Hope this helps some people out and if anyone knows a better way let me know. ;)
BTW people can still see the # of posts you have if they click your profile, I didn't need to get rid of that so I didn't try. 8)

Thanks for being less lazy enough than me to bother figuring this out. :)

Now I just have to convince people that it is a good idea. Stupidly I asked the members if they wanted me to take it off or not in a poll. ;D

Quotestupidly I asked the members if they wanted me to take it off or not in a poll.
I've learned that when you're going to change something that won't affect your users too badly it's better not to ask them what they think! ;D
BTW I noticed you said you're using 1.0.0, I'm using 1.1.0. The change should be the same but you might want to backup Display.php first just in case.

Thanks for the tip but I always keep backups anyway. Too many bad experiences have taught me that! :D
