Scaling down Text and expanding forum borders

I'm inserting YaBB SE into my own template and there is not a lot of width available for the forum. The most pressing issue is the default text size that occurs in the messages an default setting text. It looks like it is set to 2 or 3 in size and I would like to resize it down to a small font - say 1 as typical.
Can someone tell me which files contain the default text sizes and how I can rest my database of messages so that they will appear at a smaller font size.

I also want to stretch the width of the message forum tables, but have not had luck being able to do this without screwing up my FrontPage Theme template.

You can see the problem I am having by looking at the current board example.

I will set this so that you need not log on to access. I would appreciate any help you can give me. I suspect the font size is probably now in the Database since it is not in the Template.HTML or Settings.PHP file.

Please help me adjust this to make it appear well. I need the boarder tables of the template to add information and links back to the website. I suppose I can get rid of the right cells to expand it out further in necessary, but working with a template theme such as this is touchy.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

the font sizes are all in the CSS of the template. any changes to the tables within yabb that are produced by the <yabb main> tag in the template will require the editing of the source files.

having such a squeezed bbs isnt very user friendly...

maybe you should consider an adaptation of your current site template for your BBS to give the feel of your site but allow YaBB SE to be free...  ;D Just a suggestion.  ;)

I appreciate the suggestion and have, in fact, eliminated the right table cell - widening the forum template. I am still struggling with it as I see what this YaBBSE template looks like and like the size.
Are there any other forums I can look at to give me ideas on how to do it?

Modifying the template and creating a subweb for my forums is new to me so I am still in the learning stages and learning as I am making mistakes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks again.
