DKADAVE's Advanced Avatar Mod Is Out!

Well I've been working hard getting this mod up!  But I'm still only about 50% done!  So I plan to finish by the 11th!  This mod will change you profile section!  It doesn't delete/modify anything in your files but just them on the side!  So far it's working great!

I still have plans for user uploads, but at the moment no!

Features this mod has at the moment:
Avatar Cat naming
Avatar Cat Usergrouping ( Allow only certain usergroups to use)
Cat Ordering

Here is what I have plan for the members/users screen!

All users of my forums will be testing this mod out before it's released and will be first to know when it's out!

Awesome. It would be cool if you could have the option to get different avatar categories on different screens, though. And how do you organize the avatars? By folders within the avatars directory?

Well I made it using mysql,  this would allow you link your avatar selections to any folder in the avatars folder!

The admin section asks for the

Avatar Cat name
Avatar Cat folder
Avatar Cat usergroup allow
Avatar Cat show
Avatar Cat order

I'm still looking for suggestions for more options!

Right now I have your's for different pages for different folders!

I'll make that an option! I think!   I gotta see!

only one thing I dont like, all the avatars being displayed. must make the page slow to load

Well this mod does nothing to any of the files but add things!  So hopefully it won't be affected much!

It will also all you to have a choice of the original drop down menu or the show all avatars!  Also some one else suggested the use of different pages per category!

Sorry, but this mod will be released later, cause I was talking to the developers and they said that the files I edited was changed, so I will have to check it out and hack from the new files    I will also have a hack for this version if the new release is totally different!

Maybe with an option to only allow avatars of a maximum size?

I have a plan for upload feature!  I will have try to include in the next version, at the moment I have to add a Admin section for this mod!  And then it's done!

Also this mod will only work with version 1.1.0!

Next version of my avatar mod will hopefully include upload feature and a more better cat features!

I would be glad to announce that I will hopefully have this mod done by Sunday!

i think you can only show the categorie names, then, if anybody click on the categorie name, a windows pop up where all the avatars in the categorie be listed.

I'm done with version 0.10 of my avatar mod!

All I have to do is package it!  So just hold on, I have to try and figure this out!

Please Note that I haven't tested this mod out on other Computers!  So I would consider this a beta version!

So try it out if you want, but I would consider you wait if you don't feel comfortable!
