Read only Forum?

I've been looking but can't see a way to do this.

Is there a way to setup  a forum so that only a member of one group (In this case administator) could post to it (new topic, reply, etc) and yet anyone can READ it?

This is the announcement board mod which has not yet been ported.

So the answer is No - not yet.


Update: The Annoucement Board mod has been Ported and will be Included in the upcoming Update.

A Sticky Topic is a topic that is stuck to the top of the baord its in. The Annoucement Board mod  will make a baord in your forum that can only be posted too by an Admin and is read-only for users. (there is an option where people CAN reply to a topic, but cant post a topic)

Will this mod be included in the update?
I think that's a good idea, you also have no troubles anymore with people posting their questions in the FAQ-forum :P

Yes, it will be added (as you can see in the Boardindex *g* Take a look at the FAQ-Board ;D)
