Problem with Mouseover ("mod")

I used the text file to manually install the mouseover cell with the entire <tr> clickable and the mouse changing to a hand.

It works fine, but I'm getting a parse error at the top of my indexes:
Parse error: parse error in /users/coolfreepage.com/rpgmaniacs/YABBSE/Sources/BoardIndex.php on line 380

 I also get this at the bottom of the same pages:
2: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
(/users/coolfreepage.com/rpgmaniacs/YABBSE/Sources/MessageIndex.php ln 39)

This one should work fine, but "adams" added the hand cursor.

Done. It did not fix. Still get the same error. Besides, yours does not make the <tr> clickable, and like you said, does not change the mouse to a hand.

Did I mention I'm using a safe-mode server?

line 380 has nothing to do with the mod, unless you made a mistake when editing the code, line 380 should say:

if($messnum == 1) { print $txt[471]; }

I'd check to see that it is the same as above

Yes, line 380 is exactly what you wrote. That's why I'm puzzled. I KNOW it has nothing to do with the mouseover add-on, but the error didn't start until I put it in there.

Also, the other error is in Line 39 of the MessageIndex. That also has nothing to do with it.
Line 39 is:
$curposlinks,$cgi,$yytitle,$settings,$start,$modSettings,$viewResults,$ID_MEMBER,$db_prefix;

hmm, line 39 in my Messageindex is
list ($boardname,$bdescrip,$bdmods,$cat,$currcat,$temp2) = mysql_fetch_row($result);

wonder why there is a difference?

don't think so since my host runs in safe mode and I have NP with the mouse over effect.

why not send me the 2 files so that I can have a look at them?
