Admin area wont load

Depends on what is crashing the program.  if it's a function in a later release of PHP then yes of course it would be a problem and no it wouldn't be strange.

Is there anybody out there who has a board running on F2S, or a PHP version that is 4.0.3 ?!

Same problem now, I always come in the admin center and now it don't load, I have a paid host .

Our problem was (is) the PHP version at F2S, this was too old.......
But StephanL, what exactly is your problem with the admin center ?  You say it DID load for a while, but now it doesn't any more ?!

grrrrr!!! I'm having the same exact problem. I finally was able to get YaBB SE to install on my f2s site, and was able to get the settings transferred over, but I can't access admin at all. I click it, and it just keeps waiting to load, but never does load. O wait.. I was just typing this while I was waiting for it to load, and I got this error message:

An Error Has Occurred!

2: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
(/web/sites/136/webmasta/www.webmasta.f2s.com/YaBBSE/Sources/Admin.php ln 50)

Any idea what this means? Any fix for it yet?

It is true : you won't be able to run it at F2S.com, because of the PHP-version......

well dammit.. guess I'll have to notify them of the problem. I'll just stick w/ YaBB1G for right now until I get a new web host, which will be soon

Well......in a few months or so, they will charge you for using their webspace.  It won't be free of any fee anymore.   So try to find another FREE host, or just get some money together to use a paid host (every hobby costs money   )

I get the same thing, It just trys to load the page until it times out.  I have tried all the CHMOD ing things to no avail.  If it helps my site is http://www.donttellthechildren.f2s.com/cgi-bin/yabbse/index.php

I'm having exactly the same problem.

I'm on f2s (for a few weeks yet) and the admin page just doesn't load. However, phpinfo reports that the server is running php version 4.0.6 !

What's going on? Is this a version problem, a f2s problem or a software (YaBB) problem?

It's very frustrating and disapointing.
