I don't think you quite understand. "Sugar-coating" would be saying something like "yes, they're nice" when in fact the person was thinking "actually, they aren't".

My initial post was, in my opinion, nothing to get too upset about. I rephrased it to the purposefully more offensive version in response to "Daniel D."'s irritating, sarcasm loaded post.
