I have a dynamic menu set up and I know it doesn't work when introduced to the template in Admin. Do I have to add this java script to boardindex.php or ?        Thanks.

What happens when you try to add it to template.php?  Because if it doesn't work there, it probably won't work on boardindex.

Sorry 'bout the late reply. The script is working fine on my home page. When I enter it into the template, it lays out fully extended but with only 1/4inch showing and locked. http://www.s95039845.onlinehome.us/yabbse/
It's the same script from another YaBBSE board, but the owner forgot where she administered the script.    Thanks.

It looks like your table is pushing the menu off the page.  Have you checked to make sure your main table isn't set to 100% width or anything like that?

That's in the board index code, right?

<table width="100%" align="center">

If so, should I change it to "80%" ?

-Although I have an SMF forum running on the server as well that I would more likely wish to incorporate this menu and an upload button there, but the source code and everything has me overly confused. I'm quite the newb at coding so I get lost really easily.
