Because Custom Titles doesn't sound right for what it does.

well you can add new membergroups as it is in the admin they just have no settings I spose if this was built into the Allowed User Mod it would be good but ive ditched all my mods for the time being sorry

I think that an SE version of this mod would be great. I think this would be a great mod. It's one of my personal favorites for YaBB 1 Gold SP1.1. I would greatly appreciate someone making this mod.

I recently downloaded (but have not installed) two Add More Membergroup mods for YaBB SE 1.5 -- Am I not understanding the difference between these and what you are requesting?

On YaBBpak server GBAetc, the following two mods are available, I believe both are listed for YaBB SE 1.5:
