Who can built the Add more membergroups mod for YaBB SE?

Here is the Y1G version :

Description: This allows you to add as much Membergroups as you want easily from the Admin Center.

- you can choose how many stars a Membergroup should have
and can choose a pic for the stars (ex: staradmin.gif)
- you can add Membergroups to the category access list and if a user reaches
the post count of the Membergroup the category will become visible
and accessable for him
- if you give a user a Membergroup nothing else will be shown in the
user display - except if he's an Moderator in a forum
- full implemented Global Moderator Mod (created by DaveB)
- you can set effects/colors to the MemberNames assigned to the
Membergroups
- you can create MemberGroups which aren't accessable by posts
- you can search Members which you have given a specific MemberGroup

I actually want this before i transfer my board to YaBB SE.. I was thinking I could do it myself, but it's a very big hack and I don't have the time to attempt it, at leats not until the updated packages by Matt is out...

This is a great hack... it finally came out for SP1 but what I need most of all is an import feature so that I can be rid of SP1 and slow cgi on a free server and banner free... speedy less bandwidth usage PHP & MySQL on my own server.


But thats just me...

My YaBB SP1 is on a free server where there is no php access.

I just recently purchased my server.. php cgi the whole 9...

Maybe i'm just really stupid but I couldn't get it to work...

I could try again but I got errors saying I didn't have MySQL access on the free server

Thats why I need an import feature

Oops. Didn't mean to yell. Just expressing how badly I want to Add More Member Groups (the same way I could with YaBB 1 Gold and SP1)

Yes the YaBB SE prefix was the same as when trying to convert.

Even if it was possible instead of going froma virtual directory /home/whatever/more/httpd/html/whatever

since it was on a differnet server I had to put in the only available optino http//www.this-server-is-slow-and-sucks.com/board/

Well you get the picture not that Iknow if there is a different to the converter but it onlyu specifies to covert Y1G not SP1

So... wait I must for an import feature of somekind...

Yup, I won't switch to SE untill this mod is done (along with the "add more smilies" mod )

I hope it's done soon because this mod is really great )

Yeah, i was waiting for the add more smiles, custom titles and the more membergroups.

But i guess most of the Mod Gods are going to wait for the new SP thing to come out first...

Custom titles is done, but there's no need to release because joseph integrated this function in the next release.

Thats me alright   Yeah, it should be worth the wait, I'm not tranferring my board 'til its out, and writing hacks on localhost is a pain
