YaBB SE Version: 1.5.5
MySQL Version: 4.0.x

Problem Description:
the new post icon doesn't want to animate in its blinking mode (on.gif)

but i do see the little new icon once i open the thread

any clues?

What 'blinking mode' on what board?

Since YaBB SE on.gifs aren't animated by default, you'll need to be more specific!

ok  :)
there is a black diamond icon to the left of the
forum names....when a new message is posted
in that forum i was expecting to see the diamond
blinking green


i guess i can replace the on.gif with an animating one :)
