YaBB SE Version: 1.5.5
PHP Version: <= 4.1.0
MySQL Version: 4.0.x

Problem Description:
ok i got this error when me or anyone from my staff trys to delete a post

and also if there using a firewall
they CANNOT login into the forum
they gotta shut off there firewall
then they can login

also some of the members cannot delete posts

but adding posts is no problem whatsoever!

what causes

An Error Has Occurred!

Invalid referring site.


and it was working good and then this happened

i have added NO mods or hacks to my board
so nothing was changed when this happened

any help is great!

Are you sure your PHP version is below 4.1.0?  Because... the minimum requirement is PHP 4.1.0....

hmmz
i know i got the right stuff to run it
cause it has been running sweet for like 6 months
BUT now i got this problem
also i found out
that i was wrong

some of my members CANNOT POST
<i did not know that>

so does that help?

I receive the "invalid referring site" error when I try to delete a topic on one of my forums.

This error is generally caused by using redirection and/or frames.

ok i am doing neither
my address is the raw address from the host i am with
so its not on a domain or anything
i am not using a redirector either <ie: noip.com>

and i am not using frames
<didnt do any styles or anything to my yabb....in other words its ugly looking LOL!>

SMF shouldn't have these problems as bad.

The reason it's having problems is usually because the referrer is not the forum, which is a HUGE security risk.  Turn the check off and I can hack your forum no time flat.
