I just upgraded from Gold to SE.  What a great thing.  The few things I didn't like about Gold (and there were just a few) are gone, and there are many new toys in SE that I wouldn't even have thought of.

The conversion was a bit of a nail-biter at times, but in the end, I only lost 10 posts out of 3,000+

Heh... I really need to go and learn how YaBB's file system works it seems... so many people have trouble with the converter...
