I just realized that line was commented out in the file I sent you.  Did you uncomment it before you tried it?

I can verify that the same line is what is causing my Apache to crash as well.  I'm going to dink around with it and see what I can do.

What version of Apache are you using?

So it's not just an Apache2 thing.  Weird.  Wonder if it's some setting different or something.  ???

I Installed Spider URLs 1.2 and error 404 on all pages including the index.

I am running:
YaBBSE 1.5.4
SuperMod 0817
Apache 2 (turned on AcceptPathInfo On as dschwab9
stated in his post http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?thread=25703/15#msg175745 )

Any ideas?

hmm... why don't you wait for wysiwig to announce the new release of SM? it seems to have this mod already, cause his urls show it at www.supermod.org/community

I'm sure he sorted it out already and will have it working the way it needs to be working for you guys.. maybe if you wait just a little, you won't have to worry about it yourself ;)

Anguz, how are you adding the php extension in your test forum?  Can I do that with the version I'm running now?

not exactly the same, but you could do something like this... ***goes look for Friendly URLs code

okay... in the function rewrite_url, right after the str_replace, add a new directory and a script, whatever you want it to be, it won't matter... like this

return $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'] . str_replace($arr1, $arr2, $match['1']) . '/script.php';

I made bold and underlined the addition

I think I had it like that in my testint forum for a while, but I'm not sure it was exactly like that, so I can't promise it'll work, but I think it will ;)

.

Thanks, I'll play with it a bit.

Will I have to add anything to the "get vars from URL" section?
