Cannot change password

Problem Description:
Hi,

I just got done installing yabbse.  Very very nice!

I am having a problem using my current password to change profile settings.  I have logged in as admin and a user account that I created.  In both cases when I go into profile, and enter my current password, and then change any setting, and then proceed to save the new setting, the response I get is:
"The current Password is invalid"

Although I am able to use the same password to log in.

Please make sure you're enetering it in the right box...

Please try a detailed version check...

Note that it works for me.  (Hi, I'm tester!)

Did you note that you have to enter the old password at the top of the profile before you can save the modified profile?

Still not working...That is very odd that it worked for you.  Because it does not work for both the admin user and any other user on the forum.

Could it be a browser related problem?  Because that would be the only difference, I would assume between your attempt and mine.

Okay, I did register myself, as well.  I was able to change my password, but got booted out afterwards.  I simply logged in again, and it was good to go.

I'm suspecting an outdated PHP version, you might want to bug your host to upgrade to the latest version (4.3.3) to help eliminate any PHP bugs (and trust me, 4.2.x had quite a few, why do you think they jumped to 4.3 so quickly?).

An upgrade to MySQL wouldn't hurt matters either.

Could you provide a link to your phpinfo.php file?
