I'd like to use a Jpeg image as the background for my forum -  what part of the template controls this? Sample code?  Thanks!

On second thought, I'm not having much luck "fixing" the background image for the forum - I've tried several formats.  Can someone tell me what's wrong with the following?

BODY {FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: 12px, Verdana, arial, helvetica, serif;  BACKGROUND-IMAGE: url(yabbimages/adback2.jpg); bgproperties=fixed}

Thanks!

You can't use bgproperties=fixed in css, only in the actual body tag. You can, however, do this in css for the same effect:

body {background : url(../images/backgrounds/BackgroundBigBrick.jpg);background-attachment: fixed}

If you look in the template code you will see the CSS at the top, this will finish with the tag </style>

After that you will have an entry like this <body>

Find that and then replace it with

<body background="http://your image.gif" bgproperties="fixed">

it will then work for you.

I found this one, should I replace that one with your code?
<body text="#000000" link="#0033ff" bgcolor="#f9f9f10">

Also, how do I change the color of the Scroll bar?

for that use this...

<body background="http://your image.gif" bgproperties="fixed" text="#000000" link="#0033ff" bgcolor="#f9f9f10">

As for the coloured scroll bar in the CSS you can add this to the BODY entry...

BODY          {scrollbar-face-color: #FF0000; scrollbar-shadow-color: #C0BCBC; scrollbar-highlight-color: #C0BCBC;
              scrollbar-3dlight-color: #D2CCCC; scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #A39B9B; scrollbar-track-color: #363636;
              scrollbar-arrow-color: #363636; font-family: Arial}

That gives you a bright red scroll bar with a dark grey background, but you can adjust the HEX codes to your liking.

This only works on Internet Explorer, by the way.

Thats the bosy tag from my board and its working across the whole site make sure you are changing the CSS AT THE TOP and not the HTML <Body> tag properties.
