Instant Message Mod for 1.5.2

 I am curious if anyone else has been looking for one.

Right now my instant messages say : you have 5 messages, 0 are new.

My old setup had the following: you have 5 messages and it also had a nice IMAGE pic.

I am trying to get something like this back...so that I can effectively see if I have a new message.  Any ideas?
