Returning to search for localhost/..

When using on my local net everything works fine.

I serve via dynalais.net.

I can remotely call up pages home page, but when I try to login, I end up with a netscape search page with /localhost/.....

Set your boardurl to something other than localhost.

Some suggestions as to what?

I tried 127.0.0.1 and that doesn't work.

Should it be my dnsalias.net address?

Yes use your address...

127.0.0.1 ALWAYS means "self".

I set it to the webhop address and things seemed to work...

Except when I attempt to login I returns an error that i need to fill in the username. (Yes, put one in.)

I also tried to register and received the same error - no username.

Seems strange to me. How could the form variable be lost?

Can't use webhop or redirection.... use something like www.dyndns.org.
