adding that global did the trick. all works now thanks  ;D

when i change my profile offset.. shoutbox is right  ;D

Must be doin' something wrong...  both of those strings are fairly standard, and I think your site must be lookin' pretty odd if you don't have those?

What kind of mods do you have installed?

OK i installed it manually but i go to the site and i dont see the shoutbox. Is there something im missing? I installed manually through boardmod and uploaded shoutdb.php to my yabbse dir and ran it. What am i missing?

You have to put <yabb shoutbox> in your template somewhere.

Ok thanks i got that working now im not very good with tables how would i put it in the same location as you have yours on your site?

well...  since I'm using PfaBB, I have it inserted into a block...

What you need to do is look for <yabb main> in your template.

if you can paste that section of your template (about 5 lines before and 5 lines after) I'll rework it for you.

This is my template (the body part).  Try putting it in between your <body></body> tags.

open up your template, and look for <body>.

Then look for </body>.

Highlight everything in between and paste over it.
