How do you turn off maint mode manually .... because whenever I go to login It takes me to the home yabbse but whenever I click anything like admin... a category or anything it goes right back into the login thinggy...

To turn off maintenace mode, you'll need to download your Settings.php and edit it.  It'll have $maintenance = 1 somewhere... make the 1 a 0.  Then upload it.
