Please try a detailed version check.  Please try uploading clean sources.

If you continue to have problems, please make this change to Post.php:

Find:
<?php

Replace
<?php
print_r($_POST);

And then post here again.

Thank you,

Well did a version check and submitted everything came back as most current, tried reuploading fresh sources directory with all fresh files, also placed the edit you suggested in post.php and reuploaded. However none helped. I wish it would have though, I am open to further ideas and thank you so much for a prompt reply Unknown.

Strage.  When I attempt to post a message, no post data is sent.  This is not the case with logging in - only posting.

Very odd.

Would it help if you could look at the files themselves and or so on? I am busted on what to do, I mean I run a yabbse forum for myself and it worked great for ages and tried to help with his and have no clue. I feel stupid been trying so hard. If you would be willing or would like to I would PM you the user and pass so you could see in depth maybe I missed something some where. THank you Unknown. And to let ya know I will be back on tomorow so no need to rush or nothing, but again thank you for the help.

If you can send me the FTP password and username, I'll see what I can do about figuring out what's causing it... but I won't be able to until tommorow afternoon.  (like 17 hours from now :/.)

Update:  Okay, now this is turning into a very interesting issue.  I've written a script that fully works on my server and another client's server.  I've put the same script up on this new client's server, and ::gasp:: it doesn't even work there.

I am now convinced it's a buggy install of PHP.  We're waiting to hear from the hosting company to find out how much they're going to sucker punch us for an upgrade.  Chances are that I'll send it to my Co-Admin and have him upgrade, as he is generally cheaper than most everyone else.

Will keep you all updated.

This sounds exactly like the error I am experiencing (and posted in Other Help).

Do you have a phpinfo.php uploaded?  The reason I ask is because I want to try to see if there's any similarities between the two servers we are on.

It's just strange.

I was afraid of that.  We're running identical set ups.  We're going to be upgrading our PHP version either today or tomorrow, I'll let you know how that works out.

Right, and we do have simiar systems.  Unknown, we've got identical problems and configurations, you may want to bring his thread in here and merge it with mine, since it belongs in Other Help and I am researching it on my side.  I believe it's actually tied into the version of PHP that we're running (identical configs, both on 4.1.2).

Mod Team, http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?board=131;action=display;threadid=22017 should be merged in with this thread here, as they are the same problem on different machines.  I will continue to research it on my side and update everyone.  I am even more confident that it's related to the PHP Versions now than ever before due to a few scripts I've written not working on my client's server, but works on my server and another client's server just fine.  We're both on 4.2.3.

I get this on my forum sometimes but it seems to only happen to some people not everyone. I think I'm running 4.1.2 as well.

Have you guys looked in the php.net bug tracker yet to see if this is an issue?

David, not in bug tracker, but upgrading from 4.1.2 to 4.2.3 fixed my issues.  I'm not saying that the upgrade itself fixed the issues, but since we're running a very similar configuration on the newer version of PHP that we've got installed.

::sighs::  [Unknown], it looks like what I told you is gonna be true, we're gonna have to get the requirements raised.

morr0lan, talk to your web host provider and have them upgrade you to the latest stable version of PHP and MySQL.  That should fix your problems, as well.
