What is a parse error

Hiya, running 1.5.1 final with the security upgrade. Have 300 members, one is complaining of a Parse Error, and not being able to do anything on my forum.

Where should I be looking for this, I am getting an error from him in the logs, but it's blank.

Probably a language file problem.  Ask them to copy the whole error.
