UserLogger?

Hi all,

I've just converted from YaBB Gold to YaBBSE and there's one particular mod that I miss. It was called UserLogger and was a small perl file that you SSI'd on any page you like and if it was called by a user, they would be displayed as being 'online'.

I've looked right through the 'completed mods' forum and couldn't find an equivillant - is there one?

I run quite a big community site and this featured made my 'users online' stats look impressive!

Hmm I think I wrote that.

Take a look at the SSI.php file it does the same thing and more.

Yes, I've used the SSI.php file to include this and that, here and there.

The thing is, I don't believe SSI.php is logging activity on the non-yabbse pages.

For example, if a user has chosen to be logged in forever and visits my site's home page (not a yabb file) the userlogger.pl script would pick up the activity and display them as being online...even though they haven't visited a yabb page. Whereas, I don't believe the SSI.php includes are logging the actual visitor on non-yabb pages.

I hope that makes sense?

should be:
$logOnlinePresence = true;
