I am using 1.5.1RC1, but my problem has span a few versions.
More and more my members, who have been members for a long time are getting the error
"invalid character in user name"
The people changed nothing, have no special characters in the member name or real name.
I edit their names by hand using phpadmin with no help. For some changing the "Session length" to 1 hour has enabled them to log in, for others it has not.
NOW, my admin log in is doing it. Plus I can not get my password to work. Even when using the the "forgot Password" function I get "incorrect Password" or "invalid character in user name". I am dead in the water.........
My host is using MySQL 3.23.43
I would appreciate ANY HELP!
