Great board, Great community.

I have 2 categories

I want to make category 2 for members only.

I have created another login on my computer to test
membergroups but can't seem to make category 2 visible for anyone but the admin.

I'm sure I am missing the obvious.

tnx for the help.

When editing the category in admin center, click the [!] button and choose Administrator
that way only Admin & Global Mods able to see the restricted category
keep in mind that global mods will be able to see it too

Right now it's not possible to allow only members into a certain category.

The best way to do it is to create a custom membergroup and put everyone inside it.

I probably explained it wrong.

I'm mentoring some older adults who have purchased their first camcorder. I would just like several members
to see the uploaded streams rather than the whole membership.

Make sense?

I thougt if you put in Newbie, Junior member... and so on it will also work...

at least it worked with 1.4.1 ( i have had a newbie board in 1.4.1)
