This Mod gives a [Highlight] button in display post page, beside [Split] button. The button, only visible to admins and moderators, will make the current post highlighted according to the 'highlight' CSS class style. This mod works like Sticky and Lock topic: click once to highlight, and click again to dehighlight.

BoardMod Installation Instructions:
1. Upload the highlight_dbmod.php file into your forum directory and execute it
2. Run this .mod file in BoardMod
3. Upload the changed files (language files, Subs.php and Display.php)
4. After installing this mod, you'll need to edit your forum template and add something like this to the CSS style:

The highlight button is only visible for admins and GM's, but a regular user could use the function if he knows how to use it, doesn't he ?

It would be great if that wasn't possible.

But I like the mod

a normal user wont be able to do it, even with the link
just like how sticky/lock topic works

there's a little mistake in 1.0, i fixed it in 1.0a
now works for moderators too

Ah !  That's great !

I use it now, and have added the highlight button to one of the buttonsets

It went straight in on my board (see my installed mods below)... after i deleted all the references to the two language files I don't use.

One further point in case it is not clear.
If you hit the highlight button by mistake and it highlights a particular post, then simply click the highlight button again, it will un-highlight it.
