Just a quick question. If you don't put any groups in that section of the mod, will it apply to the whole board, or do you have to put a group in there for it to work? ;)

the if statement works like this:
if your postcount is higher than the min or if you belong to the allowed membergroup, or if u're an admin -> show color :)

to apply it to the whole board, just put '0' on the min post textbox

Error updating the DB.
SQL Error:
Table 'ufbaforum.yabbse__members' doesn't exist
Error inserting new settings. SQL Error:
Table 'ufbaforum.yabbse__settings' doesn't exist

There were 2 errors when upgrading your SQL.

Hrmz. I got the files edited correctly, but I can't test them out, because there's some sort of typo in the dbmod.php file, or there's something majorly screwed up with my messageboard ;)

Search and replace for "{$db_prefix}_" with "{$db_prefix}".

Yea, that's what I thought the problem was too. So I edited the dbmod.php file with that change right after I made that post, and it worked. Now to upload the files and see if those work too. ;D

*curses his Pentium 1 166 SLOW computer*

Edit: Ok, I uploaded the files, and everything seemed to work ok, until I went to save the changes. When I went back into the Modify Settings page, the checkmark box was unchecked. I checked it again, saved, and then went back to the page. It was unchecked again. The MySQL dbmod worked correctly. So, tomorrow when I'm fully awake, I'll go through and see if I edited one of the files incorrectly.

about settings not saving, it could happen when there're duplicates in settings table
it could happen when upgrading, happened to my boards
i should write a script to remove duplicates in settings table one day...

Tried installing it... test installation went fine... Tried to actually install it and:

english.lng
We're going to look for:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

$txt['moveTopic1'] = 'Post a redirection topic';

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
String found, I will now add:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

$txt['usercolor1'] = 'Enable user color';
$txt['usercolor2'] = 'Groups allowed to set color';
$txt['usercolor3'] = 'Set the min # of posts needed to set color for regular users';
$txt['usercolor4'] = 'Choose your display name color';
$txt['usercolor5'] = 'User Color Mod';

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An Error Has Occurred!

2: copy(english.lng~) [function.copy]: failed to create stream: Permission denied
(/home/oldiesma/public_html/forum/Sources/Packages.php ln 358)

Ok. I chmod'ed the main web directory and the forum directory to 777 and it worked fine. Tested it out, and it looks great! Thanks for the advice spiff!
