Is there a way to allow moderators to ban members without being an adminisrator?

how does the admin assign someone to be a global moderator? and once they are one, where is the mod center to do this?

Yeah i got it - just lazy  ;)

but i dont live and breath Yabb and the documentation could be put togther better IMHO.
