choose position of newly merged topic?

I have to easy questions:

1. is it possible when merging a post to decide what its position in the newly merged thread will be or is it bound to go by date...

2. what is the option to have the login and password textfields at the bottom of the forum all the times?

Not sure on 1..... 2 is in 'Mods' Settings.  It's called "VB Style Login."

What would the procedure be if I wanted to edit it in MySQL? I just need to flip two posts... I tried changing the perl posting time but that didn't work...

Hmm..... Might try switching their ID_MSG's.

I had tried that but it gave an error amd because I thought it might be bad I made sure it was at the original value...

oh by the way, about my original question no.2 of this post, I have VB style log in enabled but I don't see the log in fields on my pages, how is that possible?

I believe it will only merge by date.  This is how it was originally designed when it was a mod.

You must have <yabb VBStyleLogin> in your template.
