Has anyone modified the poll so as to accept multiple answers per voter?

A poll I set up should allow that option by virtue of the topic.  "What are you interests?"

Can it be done?  If not, can someone write a mod for it, please?

I'm not sure,
I haven't seen it yet.
I will be making one in the somewhat distant future,
(a mod that is, as I'm currently taking a php class)
