BBC Tags In Nickname

A mod that allows BBC tags to be used in nicknames would be cool. People could add glow and such to their names. Right now the board I'm on uses 1.5.1 RC1.

think of the chaos it could cause ;D ;D ;D ;D
athough it is nice having ppl using colorful nicknames, if u put the bb code in the realname field, u'll have to edit lots of code because it's used everywhere
an alternative is to add an option for members to choose what color they want to use to display their nicknames in the topic display and maybe in their profile

Well, really the only one I wanted to use was the glow one, but I see your point about it what it would do to the boards.

I support this mod's idea...why couldnt you just add this into the post's thing and then in profile make the [tags] be hidden? Wouldnt this work?

im gonna code a mod to allow users choosing their color for nickname display
i wont include glow and shadow because their username link wont be able to be clicked
