I've managed to convert to YaSSSE and am working on the getting the look of the board the way I want it. My Gold board that I converted is still up and running.

• How do I bring over from Gold messages that are posted during the time it takes me to get the YaBBSE board just right?


• Is it possible to use my Gold template without making alot of changes or should I just create a brand new template?


• Do the(Gold & YaBBSE)YABBSE tags and board images have the same names?

You should put your gold forum in maintenance mode when you are converting so you do not lose messages.  You can use your gold template although I belive YSE has style sheet attributes that Gold does not.

So, I should do the cosmetic work on the YaBBSE board before converting? Would this include modding the board too?

a better way (the way i did it) when converting is to use YSE's template, then i just copy the colors from the Y1G template
therefore, u wont loose any new style used in YSE
