updated converter: YaBB -> YaBB SE 1.4.1 / 1.5.1

I've updated the converter and tested it from YaBB Gold - SP 1.1 to YaBB SE 1.4.1 and to YaBB SE 1.5.1 RC1 without problems.

But i doesn't know how it work's with other servers, data, ... so it's a Beta

Changes
- Members have no longer birthday on converting day (if no day given in old profile)
- Old sticky topics are sticky now
- IM ignore list is imported now right
- IM outbox is no longer empty
- "sometimes all posts are from members (also if they from guests)" fixed
- Added an option to update the stats (for YaBB SE 1.5.1)

Funny thing is, I was also working on the Y1G converter

I've changed it a little more radical, so that it's three times as fast as the original converter. The reason for that is that a lot of large boards running in safe mode currently cannot be converted, because of the 30 seconds time limit. Therefore I restructured most of the queries.

I also added a conversion for log_topics, log_boards and log_mark_read, so that the 'new' indicator keeps working. Futhermore, the boardOrder and categoryOrder are now being converted.

The converter is only compatible for YaBB SE 1.5.1 (RC1) and won't work on earlier YaBB SE versions!

This version is (just like Björns) currently still in Beta and can be downloaded here

PHP time limit is really a restriction one should keep in mind especially when handling large boards (with slow servers  )

Is it possible to use your converter with PHP 4.3 in Command-Line-Mode? This would be _very_ helpful!

PS: I'm currently still running YaBB Gold SP 1. Which converter is suitable for this version?

yep, that was something I was experiencing problems with, when I converted my board to YSE a year ago (15.000 messages then). If I would have had this converter then, the messages/topics/boards/categories would have been converted in 10 seconds

I really don't know. I always do things the web-way. I'm affraid it won't work, as you'll have to submit forms, which (I guess) cannot be done in command-line-mode...

My converter is suitable for Y1G, Y1G SP1 and Y1G SP1.2

I often use lynx from the command line since it does not time out like IE does.

Sorry first off if this is in the wrong section but I imagine that lots of people have this question and I cannot find it here.
Scenario:
I upgrade to SE1.5.1 from SP1.1 and play around with it, I move my members data (messages, im's etc) using the converter.
I play around more, adding new tests posts and members and add new cats.
i am happy with the new board, now time to release it..

Can I just convert again the up todate SP1.1 data messages, posts etc?

I am waiting for your reply before doing so, and any helpful instructions as to how to delete the test pots etc on my new board, but not the cats.

Yes, as long as you select 'purge database' in the converter. Otherwise all members/messages/topics/etc. will be doubled.
