Here are some things I wish could be implemented in YabbSE in order of importance.

#1.  Option to email registered users via BCC without having to copy all the addresses and put them into another program and try to make that work in BCC.
I prefer to protect the email addresses of my members from being broadcast to everyone else.  Some may not mind, but quite a few do mind.

#2.  Something my members have complained about and I've often wished for is the ability to have all those stats shown on the home page viewable as well on other pages, whether reading IM's or within the sub catetories doing messages.  It would be nice to be able to see all that same information regardless of what we're doing.

#3.  Not as important, but a neat feature I saw on another board, is the ability for a user from inside their profile to be able to select a preferred scheme or template look.

It does work like that already

I just tried the mass email function on 1.5 version on my board and it fails.

I get a page not found after clicking submit on the message to send out to the members.

I got a message sent to the admin but nobody else received a copy of the message.  how odd.

But i did figure that out that it does send BCC at least.
actually, it doesn't seem to send anything except to myself. LOL

That probably means your server is set up wrong.

i remember sending out one mass email to the few first members last summer when this board was first set up and using version 1.3 i believe it was. It worked then.  (I just could not remember if it used BCC at that time and had not tried using that function since all the upgrades)

Are you on a windows or unix server?

You might not have the SMTP details setup properly.... and then, it might be an open-relay which would make no one else receive it.

Unix.  using sendmail. path is correct.  used to work before upgrades

i'll ask the techs.  tomorrah is another day
maybe something they did messed up.  they are always upgrading things too.
