ok fair nuff, but i thought it was a bug coz i cant stay logged in long ehough to do it in the forum

It's an option, but you can change Sources/LogInOut.php...

It is not a bug.  Local cookies were added as a feature in 1.5.0 and you should upgrade to get them.  The other option is to request someone to write it as a mod.  I think Goalapper already did, look on the completed mods board.
