Don't like new password query in profile

Hello,

Am I the only one, who dislike the new function in YabbSE 1.5x?

I find it uncomfortable each time I want to change my profile to enter my password again. I mean I have entered the password in the login window, so why do I have to it enter it twice.

Other Bulletinboards needn't this query.

Neither did we. However, a security hole opened up in most forums packages and we added this fix.

I don't like it either...but it adds more security for the forum owner and users.

in 1.5.0 the input box is at the top, for 1.5.1 can the field be moved to the bottom by the submit button, at the top its likely to cause confusuion.

You're not the only one... I'm really not very fond of it either - Quite annoying, even though I do understand the purpose...

Maybe this would be a solution:

After saving the profile without password, there is a failure message. Give the user the chance to enter his password again in a password dialog on this page.
