Hangup between step 2 and 3 (safe mode)

Hey, I'm having a slight issue installing YaBB SE 1.5 with the safemode install. I've uploaded all of the files with correct permissions. I'm running Apache, PHP 4.2.2, and MySQL 3.23.41. I fill in all of the information in step 2 correctly, click on 'Proceed' and this is where the problem occurs. It appears as though the script enters into a loop which never ends. It hangs between step two and three. Install.php isn't giving me an error, nor are there any errors listed in my Apache log files, so I'm not sure what to do...

Are you sure you uploaded the .ya file in binary mode?

The safe mode install doesn't have the .ya file, so I took it from the "normal" install and uploaded it in binary. The install, however, still gets stuck between steps two and three.

wow, talk about being stupid... I just realized that I didn't upload the yse150.sql file... whoops. Thanks anyway.
