Its possible that this has been answered before and maybe I could have found it in the forums after searching for an hour or so. But honestly the fastest way is just to ask. If it has already been answered you could just give me a link to the thread and I'd be fine.

I had gotten it installed and everything last night and it seemed to work fine, with the exception of there was an error with the subject being filled in when creating a message. (which I already did see the fix for in the forums when I did a search.) But when I whent to start kind of customizing the message board I was met with a nice big page of this. (edit: I'm also the only who knows about the site so far, so its not like hundreds of people are trying to view the site or anything. whats too many connections mean?)

Now what I'm wondering is if this is a problem with my host, OR if its a result of the two errors I got while installing that didnt seem to really do anything because it seemed to have installed fine. Which are here:

Setup page =>

Also, in the FTP program I was using I had no problem CHMOD ing the regular files but I wasn't able to check properties of the dir files and CHMOD them to 777. There just wasnt an option to do it. Maybe that could be a problem. I believe I'm using SmartFTP because I needed a free FTP program.

Any help would be greatly appreciated even if you feel like this is an annoying n00b post. Thanks.

also I am running YaBB SE 1.4.1

and I'm using www.coolfreepages.com if that makes a difference. anyone with experience trying to set up YaBB using them as a host I could definately use your help.

I dont really know what to do since the errors are all over the place. Any help would be appreciated.

I recommend disconnecting the site (if possible) for a day.

This is a host problem. I'd recomend changeing to a pais host, since they are more reliable.
