Cannot Use Database wastedbm_yabbse

I had the hardest time getting YabbSE to connect to the MySQL.  Now i finally get it and i have an error such as "Connection to database wastedbm_yabbse success.  Cannot use database wastedbm_yabbse"

I gave all permissions and everything is connected, but why can't i use that database?

P.S.  Im brand new with PHP

Ha the database been created?  Are you sure that user has ALL his permissions?
