Thanks a million!  Your fix worked!!!  I wasn't getting a response that was solving my problem and by commenting out those lines, it worked.  I've testing it several times to see if it logs me out and it doesn't anymore.

actually I have noticed that of course by commenting that section out, it still shows the user as being logged in when they really aren't.  Is there still another timeout function that takes over?  Do I wait longer for the user to timeout?

Please upgrade to 1.5.1 as these changes are now found in the default install.
