Well, I did find one thing that might have been slowing it down... Yesterday I originally tried applying the Now Listening To Mod via YaBBPak since it's much easier to do, but since some of my files had been edited before I tried applying that mod, it didn't work, and I didn't realize it, but after I did it manually, I actually ended up creating duplicate sections of code (in modsettings for example, I had it set to display the settings for that twice instead of only once). After deleting the duplicate code and re-uploading the files, the board seems to run smoother and faster now.

Ok found the bug, forgot to add $modSettings to the global variables list when I added that to the settings.

I think I have the sending problem fixed too, just want to test it some more. I will email you a new version shortly.

I think the latest version does, at least it does on my board. So when I release the next version be sure to check that.

I've got a problem... Whenever you click to go to your IM Inbox, Outbox, Backupbox (basically any IM feature except preferences), this message is at the top of the page:

Parse error: unexpected '>' in .../Sources/InstantMessage.php on line 1155.

When you click Preferences, in addition to the above message, you get:

Fatal error: call to undefined function IMPreferences() in .../index.php on line 32.

Well, I managed to track down the code that was causing the error, but I don't know what to do about it.

Any idea what's causing this error and what I should do about it?

EDIT: This appears to be caused by something else I installed because my instantmessage.php has 1204 lines in it, as compared to only 1136 in the one that comes with this mod...

Ah! Found the problem... That error was caused when I added some stuff for the New messages Alert mod... I'm gonna play around with it and see where I should put that stuff in the AdvIM version of Instantmessage.php...

I am trying to install this mod also. On a fresh copy of 1.5.1 Final, getting the same error as above and more.
Please update mod for 1.5.1 Final

Ok. Here's your problem... First, it's in modsettings.php, not index.php as you indicated. Anyway, here's the code you should be looking for:
