Multiple delete for IM

Hello Yabbse folks  

I have trouble with Instant Messsages in my yabbse forum :
people use too much IM and doesn't delete them.
so my database is becoming very heavy and tends to slow down the site

1) so is it possible to add a warning when someone
go over a certain amount of stored IM
sometinh annoying enought like an alert window
to push to clean the mailbox.

2) one of the reason people keep IM is laziness
it is pretty long to delete IM one after one
or the way is to loose all at once
it is not very practical
so is it possible to add checkboxes linked to all IM
and a button : delete checked

Hm, checkboxes.. interesting. That could come in handy for future features as well. It would definitely be nice to be able to select and delete specific messages all at once.

Good suggestion, maybe someone will make it. I'd offer, but I'm really bad at over-estimating my time and capabilities, so I'd better hold back on this one for the time being.

Then again... it would be really easy to do..

Im still trying to develop a mod to limit pms, and it auto delets oldest messages or blocks the sender its up to the user which to use, theres also a storage box where they won't be deleted but that also has a limit and will say you cannot put any more in here please delete some

Isn't this in 1.5.0?  I thought it was....

It is theres checkboxes next to each message (not the ones being displayed but it lists just the name nad so in at the top and has a select all thing

There is a mod to delete multiple IM's for 1.4.1 as well and it was included in 1.5 by default.

So it is. Just noticed it on my new 1.5 test board.
