Modify post -> "new" icon, not to top

Hmmm... I need a better name.

Anyway, my idea is this:  People modify their posts a lot, (stickies are a good example...) and it's hard to tell when this has happened.  I propose that when someone modifies their post, it makes the new icon show next to the topic HOWEVER, it does not move the topic to the top.

Not moving to the top is due to the fact that, at least to me, it seems like a different thing.  Moving to the top should onyl be done when someone else contributes.

Would enough people be interested to warant me writing this mod?  (I keep thinking of simple/stupid ideas - of which this is one - so it seems no one like my mods )

I don't know I'll think of a way.... maybe the new button can link directly to the post that was changed.

Well I would have no use for this mod as it is sending it to the top no matter who posts i find good as the new topics are there in frontof you and you don't have to go looking for what your after itd be like the first page has YaBB SE v1.3 and the 3rd page has v1.5 its a pain in the but everything is practically reversed sure people would post sending it to the top but first they gotta get to the post if you know what i mean, hey if your bored go ahead make it.

I believe the best way to develop this mod would probably be to have all new posts at the top but if you post a reply in that thread it counts as a post but does not send it to the top, this is a very simple mod you just get the time thing outta the db and for the last post in it then set it to that aswell (I think thats how its sorted) You just mess round with the arrange thing, itll be something in the file that adds the post to the database that pops it to the top probably the time if it is then set to the same as the last one it will not move.

Could you try to like... space apart your sentences?  I have a lot of trouble reading your "stream-of-thought" posts.

I realize it's a simple mod, but it's also a useful one.
I'll have time come Tuesday to do it.  Maybe Mondya night.

You just loose where you are when your reading it ill give it a shot cause normaly when I post its in the middle of the night.

Same here.... I get 2-6 hours of sleep a night (and 6 is like when my electricity is all down or soemthing...)
