Can someone make a mod:

When a user joins, there would be posted a msg in the board you select...
And the text could be chanched in the admin center,

like this:

Welcome $user ,
I hope.........

Greetz,

Would you want it as soon as the user logs in for the first time, registers (presses the submit button on the register form) or some other way?

If you have it selected in forum preferences your board will already automatically send an email to a new user upon registration.

cheers.........

Ok so you want it posted in the forum when they FIRST login not every time, and do you want it in like a board or just a message on the main screen.
If its just a message on the forum homepage that displays it everytime they login that is easy else you have to add a thing to record that it is their first time logging in. Not to hard but will require modifying more pages, tell me and ill do as me and mods I like a challenge.

Yes, like the mod in Yabb Sp1.1. I love that mod!

I also want a welcome PM (instant message/privat message) to the new members who has registered. The mod should work like this: when a new member register the scrips sends a PM to the new user. ;)

Can you make this? I'm really want this mod.

OK guys yes I can make this but give me a week or two as im developing 2 other mods at the moment. Ill start this one tomorrow sometime. So what your trying to say is that you want a board with a thread for each user or a thread with a post from each user, and also a PM sent to them, well thats not to hard as you just put it into the register script as that will only be run once as the first time login thing is a bit of a mission cause then uve got to write a whole function just to see if its the first time login or atleast make a new table in the db. The messages/where to post the user msg will be set from the admin menu and so will the option to use them.
This is quite a large mod u realise.

Make it easy!

Also, the mod send a PM to the new registered member. If u must edit register.php its fine for me if its easyier for you to make the mod. Its doesn`t matter for me if I must edit the welcome text in the register.php.
