Mod Request to Disable Pictures in User Prefrences

Hi. A site i frequent has recently installed a YabbSE Board this is a chat site and though it adult only many who chat there have small children running about as they review the message boards. No one wishes to disable avatars for posters and the admin dont wish to have to delete any avatar that is racey. They would like if in the Profile section a Member has the Option to Disable Viewing of Avatars. Any help would be Greatly appreciated.

I made a mod that disables avatars totally, but not one that allows members to choose to see or not.

Yeah this mod is really needed for modem users !!

The mod should not only disable avatars, it should also disable signatures in the the user profile.

Some memberavatars or signatures are just becoming too big. It's not against avatars in general, but those pictures took a lot of time to load for low speed users.

If you have a cable connection it doesn't matter, but I don't think most users have such a connection.

Well i doubt that sylvester's mod is compatible with 1.5 but if you want this mod ill look into developing it just tell me and ill do it no problem, thing is I don't know how to do the packages thing for install so it will be an add/edit script on pages or replace files completely if you wish yet this will remove all previous mods.

Yes I can do so welcome to the MOD list lol.
I got a few to make 1-2 weeks ill have it up.

Actually ill see if I can do it in the next 2 days or so as it seems to be a very easy mod but a colum in the database will need to be added in the members table to store this value.

ok its on the list itll be out in a week or so.  
Im making a limit private messages mod, creating v1.1 of my zones mod, making a preview template mod and last but not least a mod that posts a welcome message for each user that joins in a board u specify in admin and also that same mod sends u a PM. so its on the list a week and i should have all of them done that cool, minus 1 or 2 which aren't as wanted as the rest.

Well here it is you will have to edit the files yourself as im tired and going to bed can't be bothered making a package for it.

Heres the package script, my problem is the package.list file for the server.
In the members table create a column called show_avatars like so.

And thats it you, there is now a check box labelled Disable Avatars on the profiles page if checked no avatars will be shown.

Ok ive got the package server up with the package and 1 other on it.
the server URL is
http://www.cnd.net.nz/Zones
copy this URL into the YaBBPak center and add it as a new server, the server name is CyberNet Design

Could this mod also be enhanced to disable "user signaturs" in the user profile? Some signature's are as big as normal banners, which is not fast displayed by modem users.

Ok here you go this disables signatures, same server as above but the avatar mod is needed as this is an addon to it
