Mod Idea: Implement New Buttons

How about a mod that will allow you to add new buttons to the board menu, and all you have to do is
create the php page for the buttons and upload to
a desire directory and the content will be viewed
just as the yabbse index in the forum template.

Man that would be great for special member sections,
sig hosting, and other stuff.

Have you ever looked at the menu editor for YaPP?  It does what you are talking about.

There is no admin demo for YaPP so I took a screenshot.  The url for the YaPP site is http://yapp.phpworld.net but you will have to install a copy of it to try it out.

That's some really cool stuff!

BUT: I really dont feel like installing another BB software.

I too agree as a mod this would kick ass, but I prefer
my yabbse and only one setup on a domain.

Ive developed a special member sections security thing which is really secure and all modified from the admin page its here

im currently working on a button for it not editable like you want but for members that have a special members area extra which is secured and run by this mod there will be a button displayed which you are able to edit its image.
